As a Facilities LIWS Engineer your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Leads a team of engineers that oversee the structural, mechanical, electrical, acoustic, and environmental integrity of corporate facilities of Intel.

  • Handles the overall building and facilities maintenance for multiple sites throughout a specific region.

  • Liaisons with management to review weekly/monthly staffing levels, KPIs, peak season/holiday planning and productivity.

  • Manages capital equipment installations as assigned for the facility through suppliers and subcontracted services.

  • Analyzes client needs and develops plans, RFQs, RFIs, and specifications and manages communication emergencies that arise and affect services provided.

  • Plays a key role in writing project scopes of work, project drawings, updating records, and all financial aspects for the project including budgeting and processing invoices.

  • Manages the workflow for contract project managers who are assigned to various installations.

  • Facilitates discussions and negotiations to drive recommendation consensus within scope of responsibility.

  • Develops and helps execute comprehensive change management strategy and communication plan relative to project scope and stakeholders on a focused project.

  • Oversees the safety, reliability, and cost-effective operations of factories, successful commissioning of transferred technologies, and support of construction ramps.

  • Drives committee to successfully organize events for employees while meeting time and budget goals.

  • Responsible for enabling teams to execute through clear goal setting, facilitating work, maintaining accountability, applying differentiated performance management, and driving team results.

  • Drives results by inspiring people, role modeling Intel values, developing the capabilities of others, and ensuring a productive work environment.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must have at least one of the following:

Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or other related engineering field with 4+ years related experience in facilities management.

OR

Master’s degree in chemical engineering, Materials Engineering or other related engineering field with 3+ years of experience in facilities management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous CS facilities system owner or fab management experience.

  • Knowledgeable in facilities operations, technology development, and process transfer.

  • 2+ years of experience in semiconductor factory operations

  • Experience preferred would be in wastewater management or any other water related disciplines.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
