Tech9 is growing its engineering team in LATAM! We are looking for a solid Senior Software Engineer who has strong proficiency with React and Java and specializes in Terraform and Azure pipelines.

Main Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain dynamic web applications using React for frontend development, ensuring a responsive and intuitive user experience.

• Implement and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js, delivering efficient and scalable server-side functionality.

• Design and optimize full-stack solutions, ensuring seamless integration between frontend and backend components.

• Define and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, automating the provisioning and management of cloud resources.

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure Pipelines, automating build, test, and deployment processes to ensure continuous delivery of high-quality software.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to define, design, and implement new features.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and coding standards for both frontend and backend development.

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-quality codebase.

• Implement automated testing, including unit tests and integration tests, to ensure the reliability and stability of applications.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack, including deployment and infrastructure challenges, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and other technical issues.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in the React, Node.js, Terraform, and Azure ecosystems, continuously improving skills and applying new knowledge to development projects.

• Ensure application security and data protection by following secure coding practices and addressing potential vulnerabilities.

• Minimum Qualifications: 

• Excellent professional hands-on experience with full-stack development (minimum of 5+ years)

• 4+ years of experience with React and Java

• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Azure Pipelines.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science

• Strong hands-on coding abilities as well as ability to explain, debug, and compile code

• Solid understanding of functional programming concepts 

• Good understanding of data pipelines, data modeling, etc.

• A strong track record of working in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Strong familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical details to non-technical audiences.

• Proactive communication and collaboration abilities (cross-platform communication), especially in an agile environment

• The ability to think critically, analyze situations, and propose well-considered solutions.

• A passion for clean code, maintainability, and best practices.

  Interview Process:  

  Tech9 believes in a fair and equitable interview process. Below you'll find an outline of the interview plan for our Senior Fullstack Developer positions. • 30-minute screening with a member of our Recruitment team

• 1-hour google meet/Zoom Technical interview with one of our Principal Engineers

• 30-minute to  1- hour google meet/Zoom final interview with our client
