Description This individual provides high-quality supplemental teacher support in NC Pre-K classrooms while working with students who have a wide range of learning, mental, emotional, and physical abilities. This position is intended to provide the employee an opportunity for professional growth while achieving an academic goal in Early Childhood Education. Local travel may be required for this position.
EXPERIENCE: One year of teaching experience within a NC licensed 5-star child care facility/program. NC Pre-K experience preferred.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
Minimum: Child Development Associate (CDA) credential OR a state awarded certificate that meets or exceeds the requirements for a CDA credential.
Preferred: Associates degree in Early Childhood Education and/or enrolled in a program that will lead to an associates or baccalaureate degree.
Degree(s) must be from an accredited college recognized by the NC Department of Child Development and Early Education.
