Description

We are in search of an Accounting Specialist to join our team in Hayden, Idaho. This role will involve managing financial obligations and administrative tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our financial operations. You will be working in the construction industry, handling tasks related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and administration.

Responsibilities - Accounts Payable/Receivable

Reviewing and ensuring accuracy of approved invoices; checking if the amounts are correct, if they coincide with delivery notes or other documents.

Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.

Updating receivables by totaling unpaid invoices.

Updating payables by analyzing and entering vendor invoices.

Maintaining records of business costs, such as labor and material.

Following up and resolving any discrepancies in invoices.

Facilitating payment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, scheduling, and preparing checks.

Administrative Tasks:

Preparing lien waivers and releases as requested by clients or vendors.

Ensuring all lien waivers are tracked, recorded, and stored in the proper manner.

Providing administrative and clerical support as needed.

Requirements

Experience in the construction industry is required

Previous experience with accounts receivable and payable.

Capable of working with minimal supervision.

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
