Job Title: Painter

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for painting custom conveyor/material handling equipment from blueprint drawings. This role involves pulling sprayers/colorant and working off job packets and engineering drawings. The painter is also expected to complete their own documentation. Additional duties include sandblasting, masking, and a variety of painting techniques such as epoxy painting, polyurethane, powder coating, wet coat, and electrostatic painting.

Hard Skills

• Experience with a variety of painting techniques including epoxy, polyurethane, powder coating, wet coat, and electrostatic painting

• Ability to read and work from blueprints

• Experience with tools relevant to the painting process

Soft Skills

• Ability to work independently and complete documentation

• Willingness to assist with prep work such as sandblasting, masking, and hanging parts

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Hawley, Minnesota.

Work Environment

This role is based in a fabrication and assembly shop which will require the candidate to be on their feet throughout the day. The painter will be working both in and out of a paint booth, often in a team of 1-2 other people. The candidate may also be required to assist with prep work.
