  1. Schedules Fabrication department daily activities and assigns tasks to department personnel.

  2. Assembles and tests product per Engineering documentation (methods, drawings, procedures). Tig welding required for some assemblies.

  3. Sets up and maintains welding equipment as needed to complete department tasks.

  4. Ensures compliance with all safety policies.

  5. Provides technical support and feedback to Engineering, as needed, on welding related projects.

  6. Trains department members on any product fabrication or assembly changes.

  7. Supplies and procures equipment for the Fabrication department.

  8. Complies with all aspects of industry accepted standards, practices and tolerances pertaining to welding tasks.

EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Vocational School preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years of welding experience.

SKILLS:

• Welding certification required.

• Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings, methods and procedures.
