Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Haverhill, Massachusetts. The role is a critical part of our team, ensuring the smooth running of financial operations by managing daily cash postings, processing daily credit memos, and maintaining effective communication with distributors. This role requires the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily cash postings to ensure accurate recording of transactions

• Process daily credit memos to maintain up-to-date records

• Maintain effective communication with distributors, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues

• Monitor and manage accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments

• Use accounts receivable and cash posting skills to maintain accurate financial records

• Collaborate with the team to optimize financial processes and improve efficiency

• Use problem-solving skills to resolve customer credit inquiries

• Monitor customer credit accounts, taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Maintain accurate customer credit records to ensure reliable financial data

• Process customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Experience in handling Credit Memos and their proper application

• Proficiency in Cash Posting and its associated processes

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
