Need 6 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag Equipment Operators to work in Hastings, MN. From: 03/03/2024 to 12/31/2024 Work: 50 hrs./week, Mon. - Fri. 10 hrs./day, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Base wage: $18.50/hr. High wage offer of $23.00/hr. based on experience and performance. Possible weekend / holiday work. As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Must Apply By: 08/02/2024 JOB DESCRIPTION: Duties may include the following: Operate or maintain equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment, operate towed machines such as seed drills or manure spreaders to plant, fertilize, dust, and spray crops, attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools. Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions, drive trucks to haul crops to elevator or storage area, supplies, tools, or farm workers & other related Agricultural Equipment Operator activities as per SOC/OES 45-2091 (onetonline.org). Drug/alcohol/tobacco-free work zone. Work may be performed in variable weather conditions. Workers may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, and wash or clean: equipment, grounds, or work area. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) months experience. Must be 18 years of age. Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Worker must possess static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 60lbs (possible 2-person). Must be willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified. Worker must be able to obtain a valid US Driver's License within 2 weeks of reporting to work. No HS Diploma/GED required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
