We are offering a contract for a part-time Bookkeeper position in the steel manufacturing industry located in Harvey, Illinois, United States. The role involves meticulous data management and financial operations in a dynamic workplace.

Responsibilities:

• Handling the task of account reconciliation with precision and efficiency.

• Conducting bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.

• Overseeing bookkeeping duties to maintain accurate financial records.

• Performing data entry tasks, ensuring the correct and timely input of information.

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various financial operations and data management.

• Managing the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is up-to-date.

• Expertly navigating QuickBooks for financial reporting and analysis.

Requirements • Proficiency in account reconciliation processes and techniques

• Demonstrated experience with bank reconciliations

• Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices

• Proficient in data entry and record management

• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting

• Ability to manage month-end close procedures efficiently

• Experience in using QuickBooks for financial management and reporting

• Knowledge and understanding of the steel manufacturing industry

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred.
