Description:

Position Purpose:
Performs a variety of duties in and around the buildings of the Hospital complex in an effort to repair, maintain and install electrical systems in accordance with codes and Hospital priorities.
What you will do:
Installs, operates, maintains and repairs all Hospital electrical systems and equipment.
Maintains commitment to personal growth and competency.
Contributes to the safe operation of the Plant and Engineering Department.
Contributes to the efficient operation of the department.
Contributes to the effective operations of the Hospital by demonstrating dependability in job performance.
Environmental and Working Conditions:
Some physical effort involved. Work positions include standing, kneeling and climbing. Position requires ability to frequently push/pull/lift light objects more than 20 lbs., perform difficult manipulative, gross body and hand-eye coordination skills; walk, stand and sit for prolonged periods; see objects closely and hear normal sounds with some background noises.
Precautions must be taken when working around equipment or troubleshooting systems. Employee may constantly be exposed to electrical hazards.
Minimum Qualifications :
Education: Four-year apprenticeship program or Equivalent
Experience: 3-5 years (minimum)
Licensure: E-2 License (minimum)
