We have an exciting remote opportunity for a highly motivated Associate Director, Military Engines Global Trade Compliance to join our team!  

What You Will Do:

The Associate Director for P&W Military Engines Global Trade Compliance is responsible for developing and executing a strategy for management of Global Trade (GT) program requirements ME Fighter and Mobility programs, in accordance with global trade regulations and applicable company policies and procedures. This role reports to the Global Trade Director for P&W Military Engines and will lead a team of GT professionals supporting ME Fighter and Mobility programs.

  • Lead a team of Global Trade professionals (Direct Reports) operating across a complex regulatory and program landscape. Support ME programs in all aspects of trade compliance. Support the team with mentoring/training and strategic direction;

  • Maintain an effective, risk-assessed GT compliance program at both strategic and tactical levels for Military Engines Fighter and Mobility programs;

  • Ensure GT compliance goals are effectively supported within managed programs, including providing guidance on GT laws and regulations pertaining to export controls and sanctions regulations, including training and risk assessments, as appropriate;

  • Ensure export authorization portfolios support programs' strategic and transactional requirements, both internally (tools, records management) and externally (scope of transfer authority, parties);

  • Implement GT policies and procedures within programs, including revisions to applicable L3 policies, communication strategies and training, and deployment of GT requirements to ensure business standard work and processes incorporate GT touchpoints;

  • Support audits and investigations impacting assigned programs as well as incident management, identifying gaps, remediation and continually improving metrics, as well as leading or participating in investigations & disclosures;

  • Support requirements for training and utilization of P&W and Raytheon GT management tools;

  • Engage in program meetings at leadership, strategic and tactical levels to ensure appropriate flow-down of GT updates, capture of first notice/strategies with GT implications, coordinate with responsible program personnel, and partner with leadership while providing guidance and promoting ethical behavior to meet business expectations;

  • Identify training needs, developing and delivering GT compliance training as required for team members and programs;

  • Maintain awareness of changes to USG regulations, sanctions and P&W policies that impact GT standards and program policies and procedures; ensure timely flow-down of changes/updates with consideration of program standard work and policies;

  • Contribute to periodic reporting, including control tower metrics, on export controls to multiple reporting channels.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years of experience in a legal, regulatory or global trade function, including cross experience leading/managing people; OR an Advanced Degree and 10+ years of experience in a legal, regulatory or global trade function, including cross experience leading/managing people.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
