The Department of Labor & Industry (L&I) is seeking a dependable Workforce Development Analyst 2 to assist with compliance and program performance of Federal Foreign Labor Certification Program (FLC), H-2A Temporary Agricultural Worker, H-2B Non-Agricultural Temporary Worker Program, and state led initiatives. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Workforce Development Analyst 2, you will be performing entry-level professional work in the planning, analysis, development, implementation, and evaluation of workforce development programs. You will be responsible for engaging in assignments and activities that impact a broad range of workforce development programs and initiatives. Work includes duties in planning, fiscal support, grant acquisitioning and monitoring, training, rapid response, employment initiatives, and/or program performance assessment in the application of workforce development laws, rules, and regulations. Work is differentiated from the lower level analyst in that employees are responsible, after supervisory input, for gathering data and information as well as analyzing and evaluating specific workforce development programs and initiatives. Work is performed independently within established guidelines and is reviewed by a program supervisor through conferences and reports. You will have the opportunity to represent the Department of L&I and the Bureau of Workforce Partnership & Operations (BWPO) at local, state, regional, or national conferences, training sessions, or conference calls related to workforce development.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Workforce Development Analyst 1; or Two years of experience in performing technical work in a workforce development program, and a bachelor's degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
