The Department of Labor & Industry is seeking a Management Technician to perform a wide variety of duties in the Bureau of Workers' Compensation Compliance section. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In the role of a Management Technician, you will utilize written and verbal correspondence to communicate with liable employers and their counsel regarding the collection of liens, writs, Section 1610 assessment penalties, and criminal restitution relating to payments made by the Uninsured Employers Guaranty Fund UEGF. This position completes Workers' Compensation Automation and Integration System (WCAIS)-generated tasks, reviews WCAIS notifications, and monitors repayment agreements both in WCAIS and via manual tracking methods. You will be responsible for initiating collection activities. The ideal candidate will possess Excel spreadsheet knowledge, internet research capability and excellent attention to detail skills. It will be essential to maintain a continuous process improvement attitude, communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and display effective time management skills.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment. Work hours are 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Three years of advanced clerical or para-professional work which included the collection, recording, compilation, and presentation of office management or program related information; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training. An Associate's Degree may be substituted for two years of required experience. Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions.
