DESCRIPTION OF WORK This position serves as the central point of contact for the Commonwealth's travel community (travelers, travel arrangers, administrators, agency credit card coordinators,) on travel planning and is responsible for travel planning policies, procedures, contracts, and related compliance monitoring and enforcement. This includes all reservations booked using the Commonwealth's contracted Travel Agent which include flights, (domestic and international), car rentals, and lodging arrangements. You will have the opportunity to work in close coordination with the BCPO Travel Accounting and Audits Manager in executing duties and responsibilities to ensure a consistent application of overall Commonwealth travel policies and procedures.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment. Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. This position is eligible for alternate work schedule upon completion of probationary period. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time, with occasional in-office days when work dictates such requirements. Please keep in mind that while this is a full-time telework position, that can change at any time at the Governor's discretion. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as an Administrative Officer 3. or Six years of experience in progressively responsible and varied officer management of staff work in public or private organization, including experience in personnel management, budgeting, and procurement; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four-year college or university; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions. Preferred Qualifications (not required): Experience in the travel industry Experience managing or negotiating contracts
