Harleysville corporate office is looking to hire a customer service representative. This position interacts with customers to provide and process information and orders in response to inquiries, concerns and request about products and services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Interact with customers and sale representatives.
· Review, enter and ship customer orders.
· Generate shipping list via e-mail with customer specifics for shipping.
· Generate pick list from Mapics for shipping.
· Assign customer numbers, perform customer credit checks, and work with/through accounting department to establish credit ratings and credit limits for new business.
· Coordinate complaints, initialize and send responses from Complaint clerks.
· Enter and process RGA's and credit memo's for returned products.
· Complete quote forms after approval from Sales and send to the Customer.
· Attend kick off meetings with Project Managers for orders placed on new projects
· Initiate change controls.
· Initiate trackers for changes to customer simple packaging specifications and part numbers, but formal specifications require a change control.
· Communicate and coordinate with internal departments.
· Keep records of customer interactions and transactions.

Education and/or Experience
· HS diploma at a minimum. One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Excellent communication skills -- both written and verbal.
· Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize customer service activities.
· Attention to detail and accuracy.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Outlook.
· AS400/Mapics knowledge preferred.
