Reference #: 5001051126500 UTZ Quality Foods is currently seeking a Finished Goods Handler/ Warehouse Loader associate to work out of our Wilkes-Barre, PA manufacturing facility. This position will work from our NEW Weekend Night crew. The required schedule for this role is Saturday-Sunday 6PM-6AM with opportunity to flex up to 40 hours Monday-Friday. Key Responsibilities: Primary transporter, loader and unloader of bulk, finished product (box trucks, reefers, 53' vans). Puts away inventory according to best practices, double stacking is required. Communicates production issues and opportunities to immediate supervisor. Must be forklift certified, or have ability to become forklift certified. Ability to safely operate pallet jack. Rotates inventory as fresh product enters the warehouse. Uses mobile scanning device to scan and stage orders. Uses computers and printers to generate Bill of Lading and packaging slips. Maintains accurate inventory of finished product. Completes manufacturing paperwork and data entry in an efficient and accurate manner. Operates, communicates and is proficient in Redzone. Operates, communicates and is able to develop skills within our new D365 software system. Ability to cross train and learn other finished good and loader responsibilities. Requires working proactively in a cross-functional team with diverse groups of people. Responsible to follow all safety rules and GMP best practices. Maintains the cleanliness of the warehouse and forklifts, completing daily OSHA required inspections. Participates in all sanitation activities in order to maintain, clean and safeguard equipment and facilities used for the packaging and processing of food products. This includes but is not limited to the use of mild to moderate chemicals and spray cleaners, compressed air tools and cloths to hand-wipe equipment. Willingness to perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: Organization and attention to details to maintain accurate inventory records and rotation of product at the distribution center. Basic math and writing skills necessary to track, count, and record information. Requires independent decision making on inventory needs, especially during promotional activity. Requires an ability to communicate through speech, vision and hearing. Must be able and eligible to safely operate and maintain required equipment to fulfill warehousing responsibilities. Requires proper lifting techniques with an ability to lift, carry, and transport products. Must be able to safely lift, pull, push, and carry up to 80 pounds. Spreading Joy Through Food!
