Description We are offering a unique opportunity for a diligent Patient Registration professional to join our team in the healthcare industry. This role is based in Hanford, California, and provides the opportunity to contribute to our team's efficiency and excellence. This position is a contract role, ideal for those who are organized, detail-oriented, and have a strong understanding of patient registration procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for accurate and timely patient registration, ensuring all pertinent account information is collected

• Verification of all insurance details and calculation of patient liability amounts

• Obtain necessary signatures for treatment and answer any questions, clearly explaining policies

• Ensure the correct physician orders are attached to the appropriate patient record for accurate test execution

• Print and collate any necessary paperwork for each patient for distribution to the respective unit or department

• Escort patients to their designated area or refer them to an available escort as needed

• Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy when verifying insurance and entering authorization information

• Adhere to guidelines and instructions from senior staff, contributing to overall office functions

• Handle patient records and medical coverage documents with utmost care and confidentiality

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the management. Requirements • Proficiency in conducting office functions and administrative tasks

• Familiarity with policy research and implementation

• Experience with insurance procedures and medical coverage policies

• Ability to handle paperwork efficiently and accurately

• Excellent communication skills to answer queries and provide authorizations

• Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks

• Knowledge of liability issues related to patient records

• Ability to verify insurance details and patient access information

• Experience with patient registration procedures in a healthcare setting

• Understanding of health plan administration and patient medical records management

• Awareness and knowledge of vaccines and vaccinations

• Ability to work in a corporate headquarters setting

• Knowledge of diseases such as mumps and their implications on patient registration.
