Your responsibilities Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Technical Analyst for thyssenkrupp Bilstein USA, Inc. in Hamilton, Ohio. Duties include: Provide design and integration support for computerized MES system which tracks and documents transformation of raw materials to finished goods, including optimizing plant floor conditions, recording pertinent data, and controlling multiple elements of production processes. Support new MES implementation projects for automotive shock absorber manufacturing programs, including providing daily support for associated IT hardware and software systems. Install, configure, and troubleshoot MES solutions and associated applications, including resolving issues related to application usability and connectivity. Provide new and ongoing documentation for training company employees; develop new configurations, custom user interfaces and reports, and customized solutions for SAP integration efforts with the MES system. Your profile Experience & Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Management Information Systems, or foreign equivalent. 2 years of experience in an MES administration or analysis position with an automotive OEM or Tier-1 suspension system supplier. Must have 2 years of experience with each of the following: Implementing and supporting MES systems in an automotive suspension system manufacturing environment, including integrating ERP system functionality with MES software. Performing IT governance and project management for an automotive OEM or Tier-1 suspension system supplier's IT infrastructure, including standardizing IT and MES processes. Providing second and third level technical support for MES systems in the automotive suspension system industry. Implementing barcode serialization systems to integrate asset and order tracking operations between ERP and MES systems. Developing training materials and procedures for the training of new automotive suspension system industry employees regarding MES systems. Implementing IT solutions for automotive suspension system industry shop floor management, including manufacturing Statistical Process Control (SPC) and IoT data acquisition processes. Experience can be acquired concurrently.
