Engineered Materials Solutions Heat Treat Operator - 2nd or 3rd shift in Hamburg, Pennsylvania
2nd or 3rd shift Heat Treat Operator (10% shift premium, competitive wages)
$2,000.00 sign-on bonus!
Position Summary:
Set up and operate equipment that cleans grease, scale, dirt, and other foreign matter from metal parts to prepare them for other processes.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate heat treat furnaces on a variety of parts.
Have knowledge of all processes related to the operation of:
Spin Dryer
Washer/Deburrer
Vibrator
Nitrogen Heat Treat Oven
Air Heat Treat Over
Drain, clean, and refill tanks with proper chemicals.
Examine cleaned parts to ensure quality standards are met.
Maintain acceptable level of housekeeping order and cleanliness in area
Maintain production records and make data entries into computer systems
May require use of forktruck and overhead crane and hoist systems
Wear all required PPE at all times
Complete setups, routine maintenance, and other equipment related operations.
Other duties as required
Education and Experience:
High School or Equivalency Diploma
Basic Shop Math
Ability to read and understand written instructions in English
Experience operating continuous metal processing equipment preferred
Physical Demands:
Heavy lifting up to 40 lbs
Standing up to 75% of time
