Your Role

The position is to cover the role of IT Lead System and Operations for our core system SeaRates who supports Sea Forwarding by providing carrier rates to all Seafreight users and applications all over the world. Additionally you will work on building SeaRates New which will replace the current system. You will be joining a global team of engineers and analysts; you will design and build products to provide innovative solutions to delight your customers. We want you to help take us to the next level!

Your Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of technical system and operations requirements end-to-end;

• Clarify requirements with our business experts and architects;

• Elicit and document system; Perform gap analysis and suggest solutions;

• Modelling Technical entities and Modelling/Design APIs;

• Document the technical design according to our patterns to enable a consistent implementation;

• Coordinate necessary integration activities between different Kuehne+Nagel IT departments and external vendors;

• Prepare and execute required activities to mitigate problems;

• Positively challenge all team members on how the products and processes can be improved (including external service provider); Evaluate and refine the upcoming tasks within the team.

Your Skills and Experiences

• Degree in information technology or proven experience;

• Experience, at least 10 years, of e.g. team lead, Enterprise Architect is a plus;

• Ability to analyze and solve problems with a view to the ecosystem as a whole;

• Interest in design methodology and functional specification and estimates;

• Ability to work in an Agile environment and team player who cares about delivering the best that they can;

• Good English written and oral communication skills;

• Excellent listening, interpersonal and communication skills. #LI-KP1
