Intel Senior CI/CD/BI Software Engineer / System Architect in Haifa, Israel

Job Description

Technical Lead of DevOps/Tools/Flows/Methods team responsible for Intel CPU SOC Simulation software eco-system.

Context: accurately predicting performance of future Intel system-on-chip products at early stages of their microarchitectural design requires millions of core-hours of compute for simulations. Weekly. Hundreds of engineers around the globe contribute source code changes to dozens of simulators, models, libraries and auxiliary tools, they all must be built, tested, integrated into different configurations, validated with massive sets of workloads for functional and performance regressions across those configurations, then delivered for internal pathfinding and official external predictions - which means, again, running even larger-scale studies and generating truckloads of data for analysis. All that needs to be orchestrated. By us. Led by you.

Current stack of technologies: Unix, NFS, Git, GitLFS, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Groovy, Python, Conan, Artifactory, Splunk, ELK, Jupyter.

Mission: provide long-term vision and its effectuation for source code structure, dependencies management, repositories administration, development cycle methodology, large-scale automations for validation/pathfinding/production use-cases, distributed build systems, telemetry gathering and processing, data analysis instrumentation, business intelligence visualization.

Qualifications

Required:

  • B.Sc. for Computer Science or related field.

  • 10 years of experience as CI/CD/BI Engineer or related.

  • Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Groovy, Python expertise.

  • 3 years of experience working in/with a team of C/C++ software engineers.

  • Linux expertise, native build systems and package management experience.

Advantage:

  • Experience with Artifactory, Conan, Kerberos, NFS, TeamCity, Kotlin, Splunk, ELK, Jupyter, Grafana, Docker, K8S, Rancher, AWS, Azure, etc.

  • Python enthusiasm

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
