RealSense R&D is looking for a lead Systems Architect/Engineer to its System Engineering Team to take a leading part of a winning team in a fast-paced startup-like environment.

The role requires a wide system understanding of all the HW, SW, Optical & Mechanical aspects of our advanced 3D cameras from definition through characterization and into mass production. The role includes taking part in the architecture and definition of our products, leading their integration and characterization from power-on through prototypes and all the way till manufacturing, as well as solving complex multi-disciplinary system issues involving the HW/SW/Optics/Mechanics/SW/Algo/VLSI domains in close cooperation with the entire development team.

As part of the role, you will be required to set definitions, generate integration plans, run system tests, analyze data and perform failure analysis based on lab findings.

This is a unique opportunity to take part of E2E system engineering work from concept to end-product in cutting edge vision technology.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering/Physics

• Over 10 years as a system engineer/architect, leading a product as system architect/engineer role

• Hands on experience in HW lab work, measurement equipment and test methods

• Knowledge in system integration methodologies

• Capable of efficient multi-tasking in a dynamic work environment

• Experience in writing architectural requirements for multidisciplinary product

• Independent and self-motivated, capable of executing in an uncertainty environment

• Knowledge in optical devices and/or computer vision – Advantage

• Code writing experience - Advantage

• Familiarity with safety standards - Advantage
