Packer Job Description:

The packaging operator is responsible for end of line work, including:

• Packing finished product into boxes

• Building new boxes to be used

• Load pallets with completed boxes

-Use manual pallet jack to move completed pallets from area

Work Environment

The work environment is a climate-controlled food manufacturing facility set to 42 degrees, requiring layered clothing to maintain warmth. Dress code includes sweatshirts (no hoods), sweaters, thermals, sweat pants, jeans, or heavy work pants with layers underneath. Safety shoes are mandatory, with a recommendation for composite toe over steel toe. You will be provided with a smock, gloves, hard hat, face shield, and hearing protection.
