Job Description

Role type: Individual Contributor

  • Crucial in safeguarding an organization’s assets, employees and customers.

  • Own security operations, manage security personnel and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards – playing a pivotal role in minimizing risks, protecting assets and ensuring the company’s well-being.

  • Develop and implement effective security strategies and protocols to protect the company against threats, theft, vandalism and other security risks

  • Conducting risk assessments, identifying vulnerabilities and devising appropriate security measures. To mitigate risks, they develop emergency response plans, conduct drills and training sessions and monitor surveillance systems to respond to security incidents promptly. In case of security breaches, they investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

  • Lead a team of security personnel – responsible for their training, performance and adherence to security protocols for ensuring a safe work environment.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with law enforcement agencies and security service providers to assess and mitigate potential security risks, provide recommendations for improvement and enhance security preparedness.

  • Developing and implementing robust security strategies and policies to protect the company’s assets, employees, and facilities.

  • Assessing potential risks and vulnerabilities, investigating security breaches and reinforcing appropriate measures to mitigate them.

  • Leading and managing a team of security personnel, including hiring, training and performance management.

  • Set high standards of physical security by guiding the outsourced security personnel.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of security requirements into business processes and projects.

  • Conducting regular security assessments, audits and inspections to identify gaps and areas for improvement.

  • Maintaining and updating emergency response plans, ensuring all employees know their roles and responsibilities.

  • Collaborating with external stakeholders, such as law enforcement agencies and security vendors, to enhance security measures and respond to incidents.

  • Fostering a culture of security awareness and training employees on security protocols and procedures.

  • Daily, Weekly, Monthly review of Reports, Trends, abnormalities in the system and analysis

  • Controlling budgets for security operations and monitor expenses

  • Identify transformational opportunities and efficiencies in the overall security framework.

  • Conducting crisis management and business continuity exercises to meet ISO requirements.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Post-graduate or equivalent preferred.

  • Candidate preferably residing in NCR region.

  • Preferably from similar industry and background

  • Relevant professional certifications in security management or related areas will be preferred

  • 15 years of relevant experience in Design execution of Security, Safety Building Management

  • In-depth knowledge of security technologies, incident management software and other security-related equipment, such as access control systems and CCTV surveillance.

  • Understanding of Occupational Health & Safety standards requirements.

  • Proficiency in security assessments, audits and investigations

  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate adiverse security team.

  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying and mitigating security risks.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.

  • Physical active and the ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergencies.

  • Strong vendor management & compliance adherence skills

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.

  • Strong communication (verbal & written), critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Possess the ability to motivate and maintain effective working relationships with employees and partners.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).

  • Focused and result oriented individual that possesses strong influencing skill and is comfortable working in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment.
