Amazon’s global fulfillment network enables any merchant in any of the geography ship items that you order on Amazon, to any place on earth. There are a variety of ways in which we acquire items from vendors to our warehouses, ship items from one location to another, and several intermediate locations through which the package travels before reaching the customer. There are millions of such packages, each with different attributes, and different delivery requirements. What results is a highly dense graph of source, intermediate and destination nodes, with arcs between them representing possible paths for packages, with different costs and times along each arc. About The Team

We are a highly agile and self driven team of talented and motivated engineers based out of Delhi. We are at the heart of Amazon transportation and are responsible for managing entire package lifecycle. Team owns the orchestration of transportation requests, state management, proactive deviation management at network level, progress tracker operations like delivery to locker, cancel and notification of transportation events to downstream clients. We use Amazon wide tools and processes to a large extent, and we also contribute to the Amazon wide arsenal of tools that all businesses use to be more effective. We are early adopters of new tools and technologies, before they become mandatory.

Key job responsibilities

You will be part of a team that is responsible for all aspects of the customer experience - from the visual interface to the back end services. Our systems need to meet remarkably high standards of quality, performance and reliability, operating around the clock on a massive scale. You are a talented, detail, oriented and enthusiastic QAE who is passionate about quality and is enthusiastic about the new cutting edge technology offered to consumers.

• QAEs build automated frameworks, tools, tests and infrastructure to help drive software quality.

• QAEs work with Software Development Engineers to understand features and technical implementation.

• QAE also work with SDETs to understand and the test automation needs of the team and build the necessary infrastructure.

• QAEs should effectively collaborate with groups such as Product Management, User Interaction, and Customer Support to understand customer usage models and develop test plans and suites that approximate real-world environments and regression tests and driving the software development process towards quality-centric methodologies.

• QAEs measure the latency and ensure a seamless experience is provided to our customers

A day in the life

A typical day will consist of standard team stand-ups, collaborating with stakeholders, understanding requirements and testing the software to meet high quality bar for seamless customer experience. You will help peers to resolve blockers, discuss quality with your stakeholders and devise mechanisms to raise the quality bar. You also have opportunity to mentor the junior members of the team and help them grow professionally.

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years of quality assurance engineering experience

• Experience in automation testing

• Experience in manual testing

• Experience in UI and API automation testing (Selenium/SOAPUI)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in API & Mobile testing

• Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control
