The Economist Global HR Operations Administrator (6 month FTC) in Gurugram, India

Introduction

Job Summary:

We are seeking an HR Administrator with a minimum of 1.5 years experience in HR operations, preferably in a shared services environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing employee lifecycle processes, data administration, and have operated within a global function. Experience with SAGE HR software is highly desirable. This role is crucial for managing our global HR data effectively and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our HR systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support HR audits by providing necessary data and reports, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

  • Manage global HR data on SAGE, including employee records, compensation, benefits information, and other critical HR data.

  • Run regular and ad-hoc reports from SAGE to support decision-making processes across HR and other departments.

  • Identify and implement improvements in HR data administration processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Collaborate with HR and cross-functional teams on hybrid projects, contributing HR insights and ensuring project goals are aligned with HR strategies.

  • Assist in the development and execution of HR policies and procedures that support the organisation's strategic goals.

  • Provide support in various HR operations areas as needed, including but not limited to, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.

    Required Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum 1.5 years of experience in HR operations, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in a shared services environment.

  • Proficiency in SAGE HRMS or a similar HR information system is required.

  • Demonstrated experience in data management, reporting, and HR audits.

  • Ability to work on hybrid projects and collaborate effectively with global teams.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organisation.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
