About the Role

As part of the Application Packaging, Automation & Monitoring team, the DEX Monitoring Lead will play a crucial role in enhancing our end-user device infrastructure. This role focuses on next-generation end-user monitoring, leveraging tools that measure and continually improve the digital employee experience. These tools are vital for modern digital workplaces, providing near real-time processing of aggregated data from endpoints, applications, and employee sentiment. This role will drive self-healing automations, optimize support, and enhance employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

As a DEX Monitoring Lead, you will:

  • Define, build, and prioritize product backlogs to deliver value to our business users quickly and safely.

  • Ensure governance controls are in place for products to mitigate Information Security risks and Compliance considerations.

  • Collaborate with peers, squad members, and engineering leads to prioritize and coordinate projects and tasks.

  • Liaise with vendors and third parties to escalate issues and advocate for feature and enhancement requests.

  • Provide technical and process support for our products and offer guidance where appropriate.

  • Maintain and enhance existing code deployed in our environment.

  • Design and develop new code-based solutions as needed for the environment.

  • Engage with ongoing projects and initiatives, suggesting automation strategies.

Qualifications

  • 6-8 years of experience in managing monitoring tools, e.g., ControlUp / Nexthink, etc.

  • Proficiency in data reporting and developing customized reports using PowerShell and other scripting tools.

  • Understanding of operating system architecture to effectively correlate data against incidents.

  • Ability to operate as a Business Analyst and manage cross-functional projects/initiatives.

  • Proven track record in driving global initiatives/roll-outs in partnership with other technology teams.

  • Experience in managing vendor services, SLAs, Governance, and upcoming.

  • Ability to drive integration among various systems.

  • Proficiency in developing scripts using technologies like PowerShell, etc.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work across cross-functional teams and independently.

  • Willingness to learn and participate in team projects.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience/certification in working with monitoring tools (ControlUp, Nexthink, etc.)

  • Previous experience in a Desktop Support or Infrastructure Support role.

  • Experience in driving overall adoption of such tools.
