The Associate HR Representative role will have two components. The primary responsibilities of the role are to provide HR support to the HRBP team at GoTo’s Guatemala City offices. This would include assisting the local HRBP team with general HR activities and initiatives. The other responsibilities include supporting the global HRBP community by providing administrative and operational support as needed.

Your Day to Day

As a HR Business Partner Assistant, you would be working on:

  • Partner with the local and global People Business Partner team to support and deliver the best employee experience

  • Support business in retention and engagement strategies

  • Complete HR related documents such as termination paperwork, requesting severance calculations, disciplinary process documents, employment letters, among others.

  • Perform general HR activities such as following up with the insurance forms, IRTRA requests, etc.

  • Provide status reports for annual, quarterly, or monthly programs, among other HR related documents.

  • Receive and complete requests through Ticket Tracker used in the department

  • Provide support in documentation management, physical filing of paperwork, and related tasks.

What We’re Looking For

As a HR Business Partner Assistant, your background will look like:

  • 1+ years of experience in an administrative role in an office environment, preferably in an HR department (desirable).

  • Industrial/organizational Psychology studies are a must.

  • Knowledge of Guatemalan Labor Law (desirable).

  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including advanced user of Microsoft Excel.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, data definition integrity, and data quality results.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced ever-changing environment.

  • High integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.

  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Spanish (B2 level on both languages).

  • Workday and HRIS experience are a plus.

  • Excellent organization skills and sense of urgency

  • This is an entry-level HR position
