P&G Groß-Gerau is a state-of-the-art production technology site, which manufactures a variety of Oral-B and WICK/Vicks brands.

We are now looking for an Intelligent Controls & Automation (ICA)Engineer to be part of the innovative Health Care team at the Groß-Gerau plant.

YOUR ROLE AS Intelligent Controls & Automation Engineer (m/f/d)

At P&G, our Engineers are responsible for inventing, developing, reapplying, and delivering breakthrough technologies that provide winning products for consumers in Europe and around the world.

Use your drive and ingenuity! From Day 1, you are the manager of your technology and will put your ideas into practice. You have the technical curiosity and knowledge to develop innovative approaches to big challenges. You will lead and execute end to end technology development within a global team of professionals. You will be responsible for engineering projects where you can rely on your automation, IT/OT and electrical aligned knowledge. You drive the digitization to the next level and develop solutions for existing production machines / automation processes. You are responsible for developing and qualifying production equipment and own the tracking and reporting against project technical success criteria. You engage with machine suppliers and internal stakeholders from all functions (e.g., Product R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Network) to design and deliver an innovation pipeline including production technologies to delight our consumers with superior products at the right quality and cost. Your work will require creativity, innovation, teamwork, and leadership.

Job Qualifications

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have, or will have completed before starting with us, a master’s degree in electrical engineering with strong academic results.

  • You demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, a drive for leadership, and a strong passion for technology.

  • You have Technical Mastery – base experiences with PLC programming and IT/OT environments.

  • You excelled in Design & Innovation management – demonstrating the ability to manage design priorities, understand design problems and translate them into design intentions. Leading to effective and efficient management of design resources, as well as cost effective functional solutions.

  • You work effectively with entrepreneurial thinking, agility, and a strong sense of ownership with diverse groups of people by embracing creativity, innovation, and initiative.

  • You are skilled to make complex decisions using all the data available but confident to use your gut feeling and instinct.

  • Preferably, you already have experiences with Project management, High-level programming languages, Databases (e.g. MS SQL). Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), SAP, Sensory/ image processing, and Machine safetyClean design.

  • You can communicate proficiently in English (written and spoken).

  • Short work experience, internships and studies abroad are considered as a plus.
