College Internship:

Lifesteps is currently accepting applications for unpaid college internships for the summer of 2024.
Most opportunities are at the Agency's Headquarters in Butler, Pennsylvania. However, select opportunities may also be available in Beaver, Eighty-Four, Indiana or Kittanning, Pennsylvania. Applications will be reviewed beginning March 4, 2024 and accepted through May 4, 2024.
This is an unpaid academic internship for credit. The Agency will work closely with each student and college/university to ensure credit is earned.

Position Summary:
College Interns assist with department objectives by completing assigned projects (tasks) as part of a learning experience.
The Agency offers Internships in the following areas of study:
- *Business Administration *(Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Community Relations, Communications - all located in Butler, PA)
- *Education *- With the Child Care or Childrens Services departments (Beaver or Butler, PA)
- *Human Services *- Working with Individuals, staff or in an Administrative role
- Social Work - Family and Childrens Services
Special Education - Adult or Child programs
Position Requirements:
- Must be currently enrolled at a College/University and completed 12 credits
- Able to attend orientation in Butler on May 7, 2024 or after
- 18 yrs. of age or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
Ability to obtain ACT 33/34, FBI clearances and a physical examination/TB, if required
