What you will do

The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the administration and support of all solutions implemented within the Group Truck NA (GTNA) Salesforce org. The Salesforce Admin serves as a primary support contact for users who may need assistance with functionality and/or data within the solution. The Salesforce Admin is responsible for maintenance, configuration, reporting and training.

The Salesforce Administrator will work closely with all members of the GTNA Salesforce team and interface with business users and stakeholders to develop future plans and provide enhancement suggestions based on feedback and current system assessment. The Salesforce Admin will also be expected to assist in mentoring of other SFDC resources on configuration, testing, delivery & training best practices.

The Salesforce Administrator will interact with Architects, stakeholders and global teams to ensure that business needs are fulfilled. Core Responsibilities

  • Handle all basic administrative functions including object creation, workflows, assignment rules and other routine tasks

  • Assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes

  • Implement and maintain solutions for both Customer and Partner Communities

  • Develop, maintain and constantly improve a reusable repository of tools, templates, best practices and methodologies to manage the execution of solutions and initiatives being deployed on Salesforce.com platform

  • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades

  • Install and maintain multiple AppExchange solutions in order to enrich data and processes

  • Assist in training and/or mentoring of new members of the Salesforce.com team

  • Under self-direction, provide technical & functional support for Salesforce including:

  • System modifications relative to business change and user need,

  • Resolution of technical application issues,

  • Help desk assistance direct to the end user community & potentially through line of business teams,

  • Support of the transition of data to Salesforce,

  • Delivery of data analytics (reporting, dashboards, etc.) in support of business functions.

  • Ability to research and interpret technical documentation such as release manuals and install guides

  • Advanced understanding of Salesforce roles, profiles, field level security and permission sets

  • Advanced understanding of CRM Sales and Community fundamentals for accounts, contacts and opportunities including custom fields

  • Creative and analytical thinker with problem-solving skills

  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.

  • Effective verbal, written communication skills and relationship building skills.

  • Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Demonstrate resourcefulness and initiative in dealing with daily assumptions.

  • Balanced understanding of long-term and short-term perspectives.

  • BS/BA degree, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.

Experience Required

  • Minimum three to five years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator.

  • Additional three years of experience as a Salesforce user is appreciated.

  • Experience with multiple Salesforce offerings, including Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, DevOps Center, Mulesoft, etc.

  • Understanding of AppExchange solutions, including Ownbackup, Conga Composer, Adobe Sign, Qualtrics, etc.

  • Ability to understand and troubleshoot complex situations to find the most optimal solution.

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity.

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality.

  • Previous experience working in an agile environment.

  • Performs well in high-pressure, fast paced environment – both independently and as a team member.

  • Ability to work in a team environment, manage multiple clients, and provide consultative skills throughout the process.

  • Ideal candidate will be highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency.
