WestRock Company Co-Ordinator, Administrative Support (w/m/d) in Great Yarmouth, United Kingdom

As an integral part of the Westrock APS future success, reporting to the Applications Manager the Project Co-Ordinator will be responsible for assisting the Sales team throughout project life cycle, from initial concept and quotation through to a final product / process release and supporting the sales team to create small/medium machinery quotations.

General Functions, Duties & specific Responsibilities

  • Support with creation of preliminary sales project plans including relevant quality

documentation

  • Supporting Stakeholder management

  • Work with Sales Project Manager and other areas of the business to assist with machine delivery

  • Support the FAT & SAT aspect of that project.

  • Creating sales quotations for small/medium machinery

  • Liaising with Customers and Sales Team

  • Ensuring all paperwork is up to date

  • Ensuring all technical files completed as per requirements.

  • Minuting and distributing minutes of any project related meetings in a timely manner

  • Pro-actively seek ways to improve project timelines

  • Pro-actively pursue personal development

  • Augmented Reality Support

Relationships

  • Reports to: Applications Manager

  • Maintains internal relationships with all fellow employees

  • Maintains relationship with customers and their needs

As Project Co-Ordinator your main responsibilities will involve:

  • Providing full support across to the Sales Project Managers, Applications Engineer and Sales Team as required

  • Providing accurate information

  • Working closely with Purchasing & OEM suppliers ensuring technical, manufacturing and quality aspects are monitored

  • Taking direct feedback from staff to improve projects performance

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • Knowledge of engineering is an advantage.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Knowledge of equipment manufacturing processes and techniques i.e., 5s, TIMWOODS.

  • Good verbal and written communication.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office ie. Word & Excel

  • Project experience preferred but not essential.

  • Self-motivated individual.

  • Effective Communication skills, influencing and persuasive skills.

  • Assertiveness and dealing with challenging, difficult people, managing stressful situations and projects whilst not demotivating others.

  • Accurate record keeping, computer skills and general windows software applications.

  • Making smart decisions to meet company objectives.

  • Problem solving, using known techniques (Fish bone, 5 Whys etc.) in an efficient manner.

  • Collaborating in team activities (5S, TIMWOODS), promoting team ethic and spirit

  • Promoting positive performance analysis for project activity What Went Well (WWW) and Area for Improvement (AFI) reporting

Travel/Working Conditions

  • Based on site at Gorleston.

  • Minimal travel required.

  • 40 hours contract (hours would be flexible), regular day shift position.
