Description We are in search of a diligent individual to fill the role of Patient Registrar in Grass Valley, California. Operating within the healthcare industry, this position involves registering and pre-registering patients, verifying patient demographics, and ensuring the smooth operation of patient financial responsibilities. The role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Register and pre-register patients in an efficient manner

• Verify the eligibility, benefits, and authorizations of insurance

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient demographics

• Collect co-payments, co-insurances, and deductibles from patients

• Provide exceptional customer service at all times

• Ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures

• Manage patient financial responsibilities effectively

• Use medical terminology knowledge to facilitate effective communication

• Handle hospital admissions and outpatient services

• Conduct medical insurance verification and authorizations. Requirements • Must possess skills in Patient Registration and Patient Registrar

• Excellent Customer Service abilities required

• Proficiency in Medical Terminology and Medical Terminology Knowledge

• Experience in Hospital Admissions and Hospital Outpatient environments is necessary

• Must have the ability to handle Authorizations efficiently

• Knowledge and experience in Medical Insurance Verification is needed

• Superior Customer Service skills are crucial for this role.
