Corewell Health Physician - Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist - Helen DeVos Children's Hospital - Grand Rapids, Michigan in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Helen DeVos Children's Hospital has a wonderful opportunity for a BC/BE child & adolescent psychiatrist looking for an outpatient practice within a premier pediatric facility. We have a wide array of services throughout the psychiatry continuum, making us an ideal place for both experienced child psychiatrists and new graduates to work in their desired area of practice. This is also opportunity to practice on the new 12-bed Pediatric Medical Psychiatric Unit.

Select Features of this Position:

  • 90-minute evaluations and 30-minute follow ups for outpatient practice

  • Call is approximately 3 weeks per year with current staffing; Additional call opportunities for pay

  • Rotation on the Pediatric Medical Psychiatric Unit

  • Support for J1 or H1b visas available

  • APP Support

  • Teaching opportunity with residents and medical students

  • Comprehensive psychology, psychotherapy, and nursing

  • Salaried position

Qualifications:

BE/BC Child & Adolescent Psychiatry

License - Michigan MD/DO

Certification – BLS (Basic Life Support)

  • Required Bachelor's Degree

  • LIC-Physician (MD) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or

  • LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required

  • CRT-DEA Registration - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required

  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required Or

  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 120 Days required

  • CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association If required by specialty or stress test performed 120 Days required
