Job Overview

The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Regional Market President and Commercial Loan Officers with a variety of administrative tasks related to Commercial Lending operations in compliance with all state and federal regulations, company polices and established documented procedures. Partners with support areas on operational processes related to all Commercial responsibilities. Principal Accountabilities

Meet or exceed the stated Service Guarantee commitments. Complete assignments timely and accurately.  Represent the Bank to both internal and external customers in a courteous, professional manner in face-to-face, written and telephone communications. Responsible for adherence to regulatory compliance standards including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), retention policies, information security, company policies and procedures, as well as the quality and timeliness of administrative activities. Actively protect confidentiality of customer and account information. Demonstrate Horizon Bank's commitment to the communities we serve through involvement in local organizations and events. Duties

Assist Regional Market President with Advisory Boards, Sponsorships/Donations and performance tracking. Manage an active calendar of appointments. Prepare reports for management. Complete expense reports, arrange travel plans, itineraries, agendas, meetings and meeting minutes including compilation and publication of necessary documents. Prepare meeting packets for distribution. Provide administrative support for phone coverage, order supplies, coordinate outgoing mail and courier requests. Maintain customer confidence and protect bank operations by keeping information private and confidential. Participate in ongoing skill, compliance, risk management and security training as required for the position and apply knowledge in daily tasks. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills

Minimum of 2 years of administrative support experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. Banking or lending experience desired. Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database programs. Exceptional organization, time management and follow-up skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, bank employees and outside service providers. Ability to take initiative and work independently, utilize sound judgment in decision making, and interact in a positive manner with customers, co-workers, and management. Ability to follow detailed instructions and a wide range of procedures requiring superb analytical skills and sound professional judgment. Must possess demonstrated accuracy, attention to detail, and problem solving skills. Ability to perform basic mathematical computations using various business machines and/or computer programs such as MS Excel. Ability to present a professional image and communicate with public, co-workers, management, customers and others in a courteous, positive and professional manner Demonstrate excellent English writing, editing and grammar skills. Display enthusiasm, show strength in understanding the needs of the customer and be able to solve complex problems. Ability to take initiative and work independently; demonstrate accuracy, attention to detail, problem solving skills, sound professional judgment, and interact in a positive manner with co-workers and management.
