Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Grand Prairie, TX Job ID: #69367 Pay Range: $50-59 12 Month contract Ability to obtain secret clearance is required to start. Requires demonstrated skills in collaboration and completing engineering design and drawing tasks and release in a timely manner. This position is expected to work under the direction of a Lead Design Engineer and the candidate must have the ability to collaborate with supporting functions of Stress Analysis, Materials and Processes, Test, Production, and senior Mechanical Engineers to mature the tech data package (TDP), or released engineering, for production. Basic Required Qualifications: • BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field • Minimum # of years experience should align to the level selected • Geometric Dimension and Tolerance understanding • 3D CAD modeling and drafting experience • Past performance as an individual contributor • Experience with formalized drawing release process and configuration management Desired Qualifications: • Strong performance in a small team environment • Missile or Rocket program experience • Creo CAD software • Windchill PDM software Benefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is proud to provide an equal opportunity workplace and be an affirmative action employer.
