Oracle Engagement Owner (Healthcare IT) in GOTEBORG, Sweden

Job Description

As an Engagement Owner, you will use your project management experience, consulting skills and healthcare IT acumen to support a team of diversely skilled professionals delivering the integrated Millennium platform, cultivating and utilizing strong client relationships and managing a high degree of variability to achieve business objectives and coordinate activities related to the design, configuration, testing and activation across solutions and venues of care. You will facilitate cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to own and manage assigned workstreams and operational activities the context of the program plan including coordinating with the overall time plan, managing and escalating risks, and reporting on progress within the larger program.

This is an individual contributor leadership role within the overall delivery team, partnering closely within other engagement owners and program leadership teams to ensure project deliverables and timelines are met in order to deliver value to the client as committed. While challenging, it is also highly rewarding and requires a range of experience, from project management (involving multiple dependencies) to risk mitigation and escalation management, event support and facilitation, and daily collaboration within complex organizational environments, all to help the teams you work with achieve win-win outcomes for our clients and Oracle Health.

This is a project manager position, and will participate in such professional accreditation programs as the Oracle Project Management Training and Accreditation program. This includes support for professional certifications and PDUs for such accreditations as PMP.

The current expectation is that this role will initially support mostly operational activities within the team, such as status and financial reporting, timeline and schedule management, and the VersionOne agile development tool. However, this role could also be aligned to workstream management or other project management activities as determined by project and business need.

Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management or related field, or 4 years equivalent relevant work experience

  • 2 years of experience in project or program management and consulting-type roles

  • Demonstrated ability to manage relationships, work in matrix-type organizations, and collaborate across lines and levels to deliver against contract requirements and commitments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing projects involving Cerner’s implementation methodologies and policies

  • Experience managing IT projects in complex environments, such as public sector (government) contracts

  • Experience working with healthcare delivery organizations

  • Swedish language fluency is a plus

Expectations:

  • Ability to travel 50%, and to work in a hybrid home and office environment as needed

  • Ability to work overtime and irregular hours as needed

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to bring multiple teams and skillsets together to work towards a common purpose

Relocation support is not on offer for this position.
