  • Notification/Activity report Process

  • Assure all notifications/ Activity reports are entered properly (work with all individuals to train as needed)

  • Track Die mileage and Activity report tasks

  • Work flow

  • Assure all WOs are completed properly (labor, parts, costs, etc…)(work with all individuals to train as needed)

  • Prioritize completion of needed Die work

  • Preventative Maintenance Program

  • Prepare for all Die PMs by gathering all notifications and work orders, prioritizing, assuring all necessary parts are in house, and putting together the PM priority list

  • Die RCFEs (Root Cause Failure Elimination)

  • Die Work and Administration

  • Review incoming/outgoing dies for re-plate, re-grind, and repairs

  • Maintain die tooling inventory on the I&D website

  • Order and maintain die plate inventories

  • Review MMR drawings and put on website

  • Tooling inventory report

  • Review and implement die revisions and new die cuts

  • Track cassettes repairs on website

  • Track mandrel repairs on website

  • Track die life and calculate cost/impression

  • Coordinate all die mandrel/module repairs

  • Assist Maintenance and Die Techs with troubleshooting issues

  • Meet with rotary group and discuss tooling and upgrades

  • New die start up tracking sheet

  • New die start up input

  • Coordinate new pattern roller machining

  • Coordinate rubber roller recover (nip, stripper, pattern)

  • Coordinate shipment of cassettes, dies, mandrels, and misc. items to other plants or vendors

  • Press Performance Projects

  • On Call Support For Off Shifts / Weekends

  • Vacation / Call Off Fill In Support

  • Printing Department Trouble Shooting Support

  • Shares an obligation to protect and strengthen Graphic Packaging International’s good reputation in our relationships with customers, employees, suppliers, competitors, investors, and governmental agencies, and to act consistently with our core values: Integrity, Respect, Accountability, Relationships, and Teamwork

  • Report to person of authority to record any potentially unsafe conditions which may result in unsafe foods or noncompliance to SQF related procedures.

  • Participate in SQF Root Cause and Corrective Actions (from customer complaints, SQF audits, validation, and verification activities) as required.

  • Follow all procedures related to producing Safe Quality Foods (SQF).

  • Report any potentially unsafe SQF conditions or customer complaints to a person of authority to record and/or correct the situation.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma, GED

  • 5 Years Rotary Die Experience

  • Ability to work safe in stressful situations

  • Ability to use a computer proficiently, including SAP, MS Word, Outlook, Excel

  • Ability to work any shift, including 12 hours, evenings and weekends

  • Ability to work compulsory mandatory overtime as required

  • Ability to prioritize assignments and tasks, with equipment downtime taking first priority

  • Ability to work safe in stressful situations
