Job Description Videographer 4730 N Service Dr, Winona, MN 55987 HEADP Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 8:00am - 5:00pm OVERVIEW: Working as Full-time Videographer, you will work with a close knit team of writers, videographers and graphic designers on diverse creative projects, from documentary style case studies and animated explanation videos to commercials and short format social content. You will take ownership of your projects from beginning to end and showcase your work to Fastenal employees and customers around the world. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: o Recording video messages from company leadership o Creating documentary style interviews and supporting b roll video footage o Producing motion graphic animations o Conducting on location photography and videography at company and customer facilities o Supporting videography and photography needs at company events o Maintaining, organizing and archiving assets in our video server o Planning and coordinating upcoming projects o Traveling for shoots, as necessary REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: o Possess work experience in video editing, photography, creating graphics, interactive design elements, or motion graphics o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite o Excellent written and oral communication skills o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment o Work independently as well as in a team environment o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork o Willingness to travel o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY) PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: o Knowledge of in-studio and on-location lighting techniques o Knowledge of lighting and green screen techniques o Proficiency in non-linear editing (Premiere, After Effects, or similar program) o Experience with 3-D animation o Experience with Canon DSLR and cinema cameras o Possess at least 2 years of professional videography experience o Possess experience in still photography ABOUT US: Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
