This position is for manufacturing role located in Goleta, CA. While working in factory you will be tasked with numerous tasks. You will be working with a very dynamic team that requires on the go learning and knowing how to read schematics and relaying information to others. Some duties will consist of building components with small hand tools while working under a microscope. Experience with soldering small components and working with electrical boards. Must be able to work under a microscope and follow proper gowning procedures for both no clean room & clean room labs.

What You Will Do:

• You will work closely with engineering and other support functions on creating new RADP request for any incoming special or standard work.

• Conduct test and data collection while following proper documentation though RADP.

• Onboard new hires while working with all manufacturing managers.

• Responsibilities will include RADP, kitting new orders per RADP instructions.

• Rotate between different labs to help support both Special Fab and other manufacturing labs.

This is a 1st shift, onsite position in Goleta, CA.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires AA/AS degree ( or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

• Experience handling/using small tools

• Experience in Windows 95, Windows XP and/or Windows 10

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Operation of microscopes in a manufacturing settings.

• JSTD certified or prior experience/knowledge of soldering small components.

• Ability to work in a dynamic environment - must be able to rotate between labs and support numerous teams.

The salary range for this role is 48,000 USD - 112,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
