We have an opportunity for an IT Systems Administrator (Physical Security) to join our Golden Valley, MN team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing our security software, hardware, and networks. The role will be instrumental in ensuring that our Security IT infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently, supporting our global operation's physical locations. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background with an excellent problem-solving ability and a passion for making sure that systems and people work together effectively. You will: Install, configure, and maintain IT systems, including software updates and patches, to ensure operational efficiency across global locations, tools and applications. Provide technical support to users, monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the security and privacy of the network and computer systems. Manage user accounts and permissions, adhering to security protocols and ensuring data integrity and access control. Collaborate with the IT team to implement new security systems, tools, and applications, participating in testing and deployment phases. Document system performance, including incident reports, system upgrades, and maintenance procedures. Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and practices for disaster recovery, security, and data protection. Key Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience as an IT Security Systems Administrator, or similar role, in a global environment. Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, camera systems (Milestone Xprotect, IPConfigure), access control hardware (Axis, Tyco) and networking protocols. Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management. Experience with Access control systems such as: Lenel, Workforce Access, HID Edge Connectors and Tyco CCURE9000 Knowledge of system security techniques and data backup/recovery solutions. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues across various platforms and applications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide technical support and training to non-technical users. Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies is a plus. Proactive, independent worker with the ability to manage projects and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
