Job Description

IT Support Technician will be responsible for direct end user technical support for the Virginia Information Technology Agency (VITA) contract by providing comprehensive IT support for end users at customer sites throughout Virginia and the surrounding areas. Installs, maintains, and repairs products such as equipment, integrated systems, and software at the client and/or field locations. Instructs customers in equipment operation, provides technical assistance, performs preventative maintenance, troubleshoots equipment for malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time.

Pay rate varies based on years of experience from $18/hr to $25/hr

Skills and Requirements

-High School plus advanced training, and or 2 plus years of experience

-Must have manual dexterity

-Ability to read asset tags

-Ability to pass a VITA background check

-Ability to pass Department of Corrections clearance

-Ability to pass Virginia State Police clearance null
