Job Title: Registered Nurse

Memphis, TN - Orthopedic Surgery Center

Job Description

• Assist physicians with surgeries and observe patients.

• Document patient care and monitor changes pre and post-surgery.

• Prep candidates and surgery centers for procedures.

• Responsible for making sure that operating rooms are prepped for surgery.

• Cart prep and process instruments..

• Ability to immediately recognize and initiate treatment in emergency situations (perform CPR).

• Must have knowledge of anesthetic agents used - inhalation, moderate sedation and injection; the usual dosages, symptoms of and toxic amounts, duration of action, contra indications, antidotes, etc.

• Able to operate and troubleshoot equipment found in surgery.

Shift

Monday-Friday / 8:00AM - 5:00PM

Requirements:

• Current TN Registered Nurse License or Multistate Nurse Licensure Compact required.

• BLS and ACLS certification required.

• PALS certification preferred
