Job Title: Radar Systems EngineerJob Description

As a Principal Radar Systems Engineer, you will be instrumental in defining radar system architectures, developing concepts of operations for the radar system, designing radar processing algorithms, and decomposing system, hardware and software requirements. Your role will also encompass supporting the integration of radars into counter-defensive systems. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to perform statistical analysis of the radar system performance using real and/or simulated data. You will work in a dynamic and collaborative development environment, supporting multiple research and development efforts with both internal and external customers across related programs.

Hard Skills

• Building radar models in MATLAB and/or C

• Algorithm Development

• Signal Processing and Waveform Design

• Electronic Protection Methods

• Phased Array and Digital Beamforming Technology

• Radar Search, Track and Discrimination Design

• Statistical and Numerical Analysis of Radar Performance Data

• Integration and test of large systems

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Germantown, Maryland.

Work Environment

You will be joining a collaborative environment that encompasses multiple engineering disciplines including Software, Hardware, Mechanical, and Manufacturing. Our team is made up of approximately 100 dedicated professionals and we are in a phase of aggressive growth. We operate on a 9/80 schedule. As part of the Radar Engineer team, you will be one of 4 Engineers.
