job summary:

This role is responsible for leading the implementation and management of production networking system. It requires technical skills in industrial networking, programming, and server management, as well as the ability to manage projects, collaborate across teams, and work under flexible schedules.

Contract Role- 1 year

Hybrid role: expected to be onsite on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Controls, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).

  • Project Management: Experience in managing projects and deploying industrial network devices.

  • Technical Expertise: Knowledge of application server setup, SQL database operations, Toyopuc PLC programming, Kepware, and GE Cimplicity.

  • Manufacturing Experience: Prior work in a relevant manufacturing environment, willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Preferred Skills:

  • Body Weld Experience: Experience with Body Weld production processes.

  • Additional Programming Skills: Proficiency in languages like Python, VB.Net, BCL, and SQL.

  • Data Analytics: Experience with tools like PowerBI and Tableau.

  • Robotics and Controls: Familiarity with robotics and industrial control systems.

responsibilities:

  • Leading Production Systems: Oversee the implementation of production networking systems such as Andon, PIF, and IoE.

  • Project Management: Schedule, budget, and execute implementations, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.

  • PLC Programming: Program PLCs (Toyopuc and Omron) for systems integration.

  • Server Support: Set up, configure, and support servers running applications like Kepware and GE Cimplicity.

  • Collaboration: Work with internal innovation teams and cross-functional groups to support projects and solve issues.

  • Documentation: Author technical standards, policies, and manuals, and present the team's progress to peers and executives.

  • Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about industry advancements in production networking.
