Description We are offering a contract-to-permanent employment opportunity for an IT Manager. In this role, you will lead a team of IT professionals, managing IT functions and systems operations, and delivering IT services to end-users and customers. You will be tasked with ensuring optimal performance and availability of our computer systems and communication networks.

Responsibilities:

• Provide supervision and direction to IT staff, coordinating workflow and resolving technical issues. • Collaborate with various teams to implement IT policies, procedures, and standards. • Lead corporate compliance with data security regulations and recommend improvements to data security policies. • Manage technical support for specialized database applications, including data import/export and product integration. • Partner with external vendors and internal stakeholders to maintain business operations continuity. • Perform application testing and evaluation. • Monitor and plan for end-of-life cycles by reviewing vendor documents and best practices. • Provide input on project planning and task management. • Install, repair, and configure new and used computers according to site specifications. • Conduct staff training and attend professional development training and conferences. • Develop project plans, coordinate projects, and communicate changes and progress. Requirements • Must possess a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Requires extensive experience in an IT management role within the service industry.

• Proven expertise with Oracle and Microsoft SQL is essential.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage IT projects and ensure objectives are met.

• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and operations best practices.

• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

• Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

• Proven experience in IT strategic planning and development.

• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.

• Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks.

• Strong understanding of project management principles.
