Job Description

Developer Software Engineering (DSE) organization is looking for a highly motivated software development engineer to create innovative software technologies for open source Deep Learning projects.

In this role you will be responsible for development of new features and algorithms optimized for Intel Processor Graphics, and Intel discrete GPUs, performance optimizations for current and future Intel hardware, including assembly level programming and development of hardware specific parallel algorithms. You will also support path-finding activities and product requirement analysis, and implementing new product features.

Qualifications

To be a successful candidate on this position you should possess following skills and experience:

Minimum requirements:

• MSc or PhD in a relevant field (Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics)

• Solid understanding of deep learning and deep learning frameworks

• 4+ years experience in the following areas:

• Algorithms and data structures

• Mathematics, preferably linear algebra solvers, matrix-vector operations, and Fast Fourier Transforms

• C and C+- Software development on Linux

• Low level optimizations for Intel Architecture (GPU and/or CPU), OpenCL, SYCL/DPC++ or CUDA

• Parallel programming (OpenMP, TBB, or MPI)

Preferred qualifications:

• 2 year+ Machine learning and deep learning algorithms

• 2 year+ experience in deep learning frameworks, such as PyTorch, Tensorflow, etc.

• 1 year+ Agile software development environment

• Experience with GPU computing and optimizations

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
