[Position Details]{.underline}: Job Title: Rph- Registered Pharmacist Locations: Sequim, WA 98382 Duration: 3+ Months (Possibility of Conversion or Extension) Shift Timing: 7:00 AM -- 3:00 PM (Mon- Fri) Pay Range: $60.00 - $70.00/hrs. (on W2 without benefits)

Registered pharmacists play a crucial role in the healthcare system by ensuring the safe and effective use of medications to improve patient outcomes.
* Roles and Responsibilities*
- Responsible for accurately dispensing prescription medications to patients.
- This involves interpreting prescriptions, verifying dosage instructions, and ensuring the medication is appropriate for the patient's condition.
- To provide counselling to patients on how to properly take their medications, including dosage instructions, potential side effects, and any interactions with other drugs or foods.
- They may also offer advice on over-the-counter medications and general health and wellness.
- Pharmacists are often the primary source of drug information for other healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses.
- They may provide information on drug interactions, contraindications, and dosage recommendations.
- Responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of medications dispensed to patients.
- May also have administrative responsibilities, such as managing inventory, overseeing pharmacy operations, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Skills:
- The ability to critically evaluate medical information, make sound clinical judgments, and solve problems efficiently is essential for pharmacists to ensure optimal patient care.
- Must have analytical skills to evaluate medication therapy, assess patient outcomes, and identify potential medication-related problems.
- Pharmacists should be proficient in using pharmacy management software, electronic health records (EHRs), and other technology tools to manage medication orders, record patient information, and facilitate communication.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED OR Bachelor's
