Job Description: The Graphic Artist- Production Assistant role at Verandah Sportswear is primarily responsible for creating graphic images of customer branded apparel and promotional products. This position also supports updating the customer website sales portal and assists with the creation and preparation of customer presentations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Source raw images of products from vendors and customers.
• Build product images using Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Create vector files from rasterized images.
• Export images for use on company websites or customized pdf presentations.
• Build custom presentations for customers using Adobe InDesign.
• Maintain consistency in visual styles and ensure that artwork adheres to brand guidelines across all design projects to reinforce brand identity and create a cohesive visual representation.
• Work closely with the creative team, project managers and customers to incorporate feedback and make necessary revisions to artwork. Be receptive to constructive feedback and continuously strive to improve skills.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in a production art environment preferred.
• Knowledge of embroidery and screen print processes desired.
• Proficient in using industry standard design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Solid understanding of design principles and color theory.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask & focus on multiple issues at once.
