Detailed Description

Your next challenge will be…

The Learning & Development Specialist will equip cross-functional technical and operational teams with platforms to promote knowledge, practical skills, and motivation for work-related activities.

Strategically assessing the skills and knowledge within the organization, the Learning & Development Specialist will identify necessary training to enhance employee skill sets for long-term success, reporting to the Business Unit Quality Manager on a regular 39-hour workweek schedule with flexibility required for all shifts.

Your day- to-day activities will include…

• Consult directly with business and support team members to develop effective, engaging, and valuable learning solutions.

• Design, develop, and facilitate virtual and in-person instructor-led training, including leadership development initiatives, continuous professional development, team building, and culture learning programs.

• Handle multiple projects with quick deadlines, demonstrating innovation and creativity in course design and facilitation.

• Facilitate engaging presentations contributing to business impact, evaluating learning solution effectiveness and scalability.

• Stay current with L&D industry trends and best practices to elevate learning offerings.

• Identify new ways to improve talent development, including career development, leadership development, and continuous learning.

• Enable and empower employee learning communities and other peer-to-peer learning experiences, utilizing asynchronous approaches.

• Utilize technology to enhance knowledge transfer in virtual learning environments while marketing available learning opportunities.

• Manage and implement key processes and projects, ensuring team ownership, commitment, and organized documentation.

• Measure and continually improve the effectiveness of training and development initiatives.

• Work closely with Operations, Quality, and Engineering employees on training product and process initiatives.

• Provide direction and support for the Learning Management System, ensuring compliance with Quality System requirements.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

What We Expect:

• Working knowledge of the Healthcare System, with BioTech/Medical/Pharmaceutical experience.

• Project Management, public speaking, and/or facilitation skills.

• Engagement with knowledge of LMS systems.

• Effective communication with a wide variety of internal and external customers.

• Ability to lead, manage, train, coach, and motivate a diverse group of employees in a dynamic health - tech manufacturing environment.

Typical Experience

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor of Business in HR/L&D or related discipline.

• Previous experience in a similar role or HRBP role with a focus on L&D.

• Knowledge of customer and regulatory requirements aligned with business needs.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Knowledge of L&D best practices and trends.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in high-volume, automated manufacturing processes.

Travel Required:

Up to 25%
